you might need a camber kit only way to know is to do it and have an alignment done then you will know for sure if you need one or not. My guess is that you will need one. I have progress springs with about a 2" drop and my camber in the back was off considerably

You dont NEED one, however with out one you will shred the insides of your tires in no time. It will be a much better decision to get a camber kit.

You asked if you needed one or not. You do not NEED one, however I would advise you to get one. It will allow you to get a better alignment to correct camber issues so you dont chew up tires really bad.

I stated you dont need one, because technically you dont. It is much better for your CAR and your wallet if you do get one, because tires will become costly.

Short answer, get one. You spent roufhly $1500 for the flex, spend a little bit more to keep your camber in check.

Damn I hope that wasnt confusing..hahah

i also have tein flex. Doesnt our front upper mounts allow camber adjustment? if thats true than all we need is a camber kit for the back

Yeah, just for the back. You'd only get some for the front if you want to do adjustments for race-oriented geometry.

The FLEX has a camber plate up front I believe. You will definitely need a rear kit to get camber within spec.

if you race.. you actually WANT some negative camber.. sure it wears out tires a bit faster.. but improves lap times..

I run 2 deg camber up front (i have camber plates as part of my coilovers in the front) and 2.5 degrees in the back (not adjustable in the rear)

Ideally.. you can run 2 - 3 degrees camber without severly wearing out tires.. as long as the toe is ok. If i were to make a track only car.. I'd probably increase my front camber to the 3 degree range, and drop rear to the 2 degree range.

Camber plates are probably the cheapest, but most labor and skill intensive, ways to change performance.
