Factory Honda lugnuts are Ball Nosed (spherical ended)

You stuff a round end in a conical hole, its going to put all the load on a very thin ring where the spherical lugnut end actually contacts the taper. Then you'll torque it down and make an impression in the aluminum. Then you'll drive around, continually stressing that thin ring of contact. Eventually, you'll crack the seat in the wheel. Now if you used the right lugnut, you'd distribute ther force over the whole conical area like its designed to, and nothing happens to the lugnut seats.

Get Tuner style lug nuts with those wheels.
Weight saving. OEM lug nuts are heavy

Agreed.

I got a set of C8's last week along w/ some black Gorilla tuner lugs and they look and work great! Not too expensive either and their available in a couple of different colors:

What do you recommend that won't rust?

I bought a used set of Gorilla lugs for my rota's and they do have some slight rust on them, but nothing bad. I like the Gorilla's (or McGards, I think)
because I haven't heard of them ever stripping (like I have with the Kyokugen's and other cheapies).

I just picked up a set of black Kyokugen locking lugs off of ebay for about $42 shipped. good deal and they work great.
