Scuffs

I apparently got clipped in a parking lot, there's now about a 2-inch long heavy black scuff mark on my EP's door. Doesn't look like there's any real damage here, but before I start experimenting with various products, methods to take it off thought I'd ask the pros.

What do you guys use for scuff marks and other remnants of close encounters with other objects?

luckily i haven't dealt with too many scuffs in my past or hit and runs for that matter. but in my case, i just wash the area off, used scratchX from meguiars, and used some touch-up paint. couldn't even tell it was there. oh, after it dries, make sure you wash it again and give it a heavy coat of wax.
