Finally done with my a2 swap and 5 lugs conversion. The process took me and my brother approximately 12 hours (11am-11pm) included taking the a2 engine and the 5 lugs out of the crashed car. The only thing needed rite now is to get the car to the honda dealer for the immobolizer. WIll post pics soon!.

Might go without saying, though did you guys go into this with instructions at all. Or was it just that striaght forward?

Congrats! I would love to do that to my EP!

Maybe when it's paid off I'll go for the swap! I would love to have a K20A2 under the hood with Hondata or even better the Guardian when it's released.

yup we did the whole thing included the 6 speed. I guess it pretty straight forward(no instruction neccessary), the only thing that took lot of time is the 6 speed shifter(required a little trick to modified). The whole settup included the 5 lugs and the rsx wheels ran me around $5500. Right now Im gona ride with the rsx wheels(since kind of broke :) ).

Hey, I'm soon to get the k20a2. how difficult is the modification needed for the 6 speed? I mean what is it that I need to do? Thanks.

www.k-series.com has a howto w/pics, but for the 6-speed you just cut off the lower inch of the shifter so it will fit into 6th gear position and reverse

i just read up on it, i don't get what they meant when they said to cut apart the washer. is it supposed to be able hold the shaft even though it was cut? Thanks.

Wow, that would be rad if a 2 liter 4 banger was pushing out 260 to the wheels.

nah no need for the lift just drop the engine on a roller and jack the car up high and push it out. And about the shifter(very simple), I will try to post some pics on how to soon.
