I just tightened my e-brake cable, I went 30 MPH, yanked up the e-brake and it skidded the back tires. But it was kind of an incosistent skid, should it lock up completely, or should I just go faster? Also, when I was rolling out of the driveway (backwards), it seemed to go alot slower than it usually rolls. Is it too tight? For the perfect setting, how many threads should be showing until the nut? Thanks in advance.

What the hell are you trying to do? The e-brake isn't meant to be used in that way and you're just asking to flat spot your tires. If it holds your car parked on a hill then it's good. There isn't a certain amount of threads that works for every car because all of us have different amounts of wear.

If the car does not roll easy when pushing it out of gear it is to tight.

For pulling the ebrake for that you are just asking to flat spot the tires and tear apart your hole rear brake assembly.

Uhm, okay. I saw a DIY on it on THIS site, and people gave it good reviews, so I didnt think it was bad.
