Mugen Ep3 R On Spike Tv This A.m.

Hey did you guys see that part on car and drivers television on spike tv? They had the mugen ep3 on there. looking hot..it totaled to 40 g's! for the the mugen parts what a rip off!

sure was... that is an awesome ride, but $48k is pretty steep for that EP. im pretty sure i could build a more solid car w/o the "mugen" name and still have 10K to play with!!!

Well that is the counting "retail" prices, we all know those parts or replica parts can be had for much less. Great exposure for the EP, and I loved when he said how much he loved the sound of the K20 :D

I saw that episode, it was awesome. It had CTR engine, tranny, etc. Mugen airbox. Then engine bay looked so clean. 14.7@97MPH, 0-60=6.1sec. Damn..

they spent 48 g, but most of it was into cosmetics, so you cant look at it like they spent that much money in the engine. because they didnt.. if they woulda put ALL the money in the engine it would be much faster...

i member'd seeig this on car and driver a whiles back, and too bad they spent soo much money on cosmetics for the car rather then performance...numbers couold have been so much better, but i agree with you peking, the test driver did give a really good review for the ep3.

there's several EP's on this board that would DESTROY the mugen EP in every performance category you can think of.. (mine is one of em)..

and we all spent a hell of a lot less than 50K on our cars
