im about to order the koni yellow shocks and the ordering page says make sure its a 50mm or 55mm outer diameter housing before ordering, so do we have the 50 or 55mm outer diameter?

I believe you have to measure it yourself, since there is variability even within the same model year. Not positive though. :)

Yes...go measure. Use a string and wrap it around the strut housing (easiest way) then hold it to a METRIC ruler or tape measure. (Most yard sticks have metric on one side). But to the best of my knowledge....02 is 50mm, 02.5+ 55....er sumthin'....lol

LOL...I'm not SURE what size your shocks are, but I think 02 is 50mm and 02.5+ is 55mm. Just go measure.

Yes..you WILL have to cut your OEM front struts in half, gut them, and re-use the lifeless strut housing for the Koni insert. Don't worry, with a Sawzall, it's NOT THAT BAD. 4 hours max for a DIY.
