Got a set of red Motegi's for about $30. Not a problem with them, even had 4 extra because I got sent ones for 5 lugs :)

Q:ebay lub nuts - has anybody had personal experiace with these?
A: Nope, never had those before, but just remember, u get what you paid. You don't want no cheap lug nuts on your your lugs. If the lug nut screws up, it'll cost you additional money to get it off. Keep that in mind.

Q: please don't answer if you haven't any expirence with these yourself.
A: Sorry, I just had to put in my 0.02 cents.

Q:btw is there any disadvantage to open ended?
A: Only thing I heard bad about them is that it allows corrison/rust to happen on the end of the lugs, the exposed part. Other than that, I didn't hear anything bad about open lug nuts.
