I have a Whole in my flex pipe on my DC race header
should i replace it with a straight pipe
or a new flex pipe
i was considering buyin a torque dampner to go along with the motor mount inserts i have already on the car
what do you guys think

could you get it welded on by chance? that would be cheaper, but i guess it depends how and where the hole is.

well the whole is right in the middle of the flex pipe
and if i get one welded on
it comes really close to the o2 sensors and i dont want to move those

how old is your DCRH? I would have a new one welded in if just buying a new header isn't an option. Personally if I could go back, I would have found a used stainless steel type-s RH and an 05-06 type-s midpipe.

Threadstarter, any chance that you are in Troy, AL. I'm sure there are plenty of Troy's, but I drive through there often so I was just wondering.

buy a new honey comb n weld it back in.

Any muffler shop can weld a new flex pipe in for under 100$

But it too will eventually fail.
