Thats cause the backup disk is from 2004..... you registered in 03.... so all your posts where save on the disk. :smokin:

i think all things aside, the site seems to be working alot faster and smoother. Last week I could go to the bathroom , fix some macaroni and cheese and the page still wouldnt load up . Now it loads all nice and purty.

I think change the color, the green and brown just arnt doing it for me , I like the blue and white.. So i'm partial to blue so sue me .

Man, I barely made it under the old server save. Joined in June oh-four. Apparently, I had around 70 posts after that one month.

And of course, I had to remind Joe that I needed to be re-modded.

I just feel for him to put this back up, and ALL of us who worked so hard to get the stickies of info, the DIYs, all of it. Post counts really don't mean much, but all that info... just gone.

I hate being the person who says it but why wasnt there an offsite backup of the site? I know that godaddy is a server farm and this sould not happen but lets face it these things do happen which is why I have my website backed up at my house as well as hosted on godaddy. I dont plan to change servers just because this kind of issue happened and its the admins fault just as much as it is godaddy fault. But who cares? like others have said Im just glad we are back up and hopefully we have learned from experiences and will now keep a offsite backup of the site.
