OEM fog light switch

Here is the OEM Acura fog light switch part# 08V31-S6M-01035


this is for wiring up an OEM fog switch to a replica harness. it's pretty basic, you just need to understand the concept of how a circuit works. the pins on the OEM switch go like this:
pin 1-Power/Live wire
pin 2-Positive, this completes the circuit for the on/off function
pin 3-Power/Live wire for illumination
pin 4-Ground/Negative for illumination
pin 5-Ground/Negative for on/off function

there may be a common misconception, pin 1 starts at the BOTTOM of the switch and it goes up.

Hey Talon, you have that old CRSX thread about this guy showing you how to wire this with the replica? That picture looks familiar. I took apart the ebay switch, about to post a thread about it

hate to bring thread back from dead but i just got oem sw in replace of my tunerzimage one. now the question is from the picture of the sw is the light (on the face of the sw) up or down from this view. im guesssin its up correct?

The switch in the pic is in the proper orientation to install in the car.

alright thanks man. there shouldnt be anything different from the rsx and ep ones right?

anyone? besides that rsx has a brown end and ep has a blue end
