Mugen Taffy EP posted it originally.
Check to see whether he's re-registered.
I'm going to check a few other sites & see if I can find something to link to you.
I didn't find anything with a quick search.
Also, PM Stanzor. He fixed his spoiler & hood & had great results.

Basically you have to wet sand the gelcoat off. That's where the oxidation occurs. After that's taken care of your best bet is to get a clearcoat applied to it to prevent it in the future.

It happens when you expose it to the sun/elements without cleaning and waxing it regularly. It kinda fades the cf and you get this foggy/white stuff on the surface. My CF hatch has mad oxidation on it from letting it sit in the sun all year while I was at school :mfrown:

what u can do is wetsand it with 1000 grit, respray it with new clear coat, wetsand it some more with like 1500 grit, respray it with clear coat again, wet sand it with 2000 grit and woolah u got urself a new tail!

why not just get it painted to match your car? Unpainted CF is ugly unless you have an exotic CF part like doors, hatch or fenders.
