What awesome excuse did you guys use to get your dealership to replace your OEM steering wheel? My leather is deteriorating on the parts that are constantly touched. Probably from sweat.

i didn't tell my dealership about anything. i have not seen them in over 3 years.

Honda steering wheels peel. It's a known fact...

But I guess you could say it wasn't built to withstand regular use past the warranty... constituting your right to a replacement.

You could upgrade to a CTR one though... it's a good op!

haha anything CTR is a good op! I'll just have to take out a loan for that. XD

I read several members have done this in the past. I couldn't come up with such a brilliant scheme on my own

i love my ctr wheel. its love at first site. they're sick in ek's also.

^ airbags are nice in my opinion.

My warranty's over on account of my odo reads 72k.

i doubt they will replace the steering wheel under warranty. I don't know if the warranty even covers interior stuff - I see no reason why it should.
