well i posted up on here before the famous tech finger slip (forum deletion:meek:) about how to tell if i have the HFP shocks and springs or if i have stock shocks and springs. i noticed it does sit a little lower than a stock ep3. but i am nor=t sure so i got the part number off the shock. if any body has a database with the honda part numbers in it please help me out here. i searched on the net and found a couple of different honda parts catalogs but my part number wasnt in there. so this makes me think that i do have the HFP stuff. but any help would be great. here are the part numbers btw. here is how they read on the shock from top to bottom:

52620-S5-TA120-M1
S5T(RR)L-120A
NISSIN SHOWA 04157398

thanks for any help with this!:mcool:

ok so i think that i dont have the HFP suspention because mine in the front is 26.5 inches and its 26.5 in the rear as well. i do have the 17s and that would make a little difference but the difference is pretty good between your pics and my measurments. i guess its all down to part numbers now.

or maybe the 17s do make that much difference. what size tire are you running???

the HFP part number from the box is 08W60-S5T-100

i haven't had the chance to go outside and check the physical strut tho.

on a side note.....can you still purchase the hfp suspension kit?

if so, where?

no. needle in a haystack. plenty of quality options for less money than you would pay for the HFP suspension new. tokico HPK is a nice setup for ~600.

Pynikal, can you post another pic of your car? I have 215/45/17 on mine now. i think its about a 2.5 finger gap...

I saved this to a word file from before 04.08 from a post about the HFP part numbers. I wanted to compare to mine because I don't think my ride height looks too bad at all.

another question, when the struts go out on the hfp suspension, what do we replace them with?

i would probably say any good shock would work. ie koni, tokico, mugen($$$$), kyb...maybe
