it had to happen eventually. maybe it was some karma catching up to me, i dunno.

saturday i went to work and when i got off we did some drinking. i went to a friends house to kick it somem more and watch some movies. i stayed the night.

sunday afternoon, i was on my way home, around 2:00-3:00 PM. this SUV was 3-4 car lengths in front of me and i noticed that they ran over and barely cleared this LONG, FLAT, windshield looking piece. i had no time to react, because i would have possibly swerved into the concrete wall. this piece seems like it floats in the air and i just stare at it and think, "oh shi-zah".

SMACK, CRASH, SHATTERED are the sounds as this piece hits my front bumper. of course i did the usual, :censored::censored::censored:, and just kept driving. i did not want to stop to look at it for i would have cried.

i get home and look, holding back tears :mcry:. sure enough, there were pieces just chillin wedged between my intercooler and the lower grill. it was some darn plexi-glass that may have been from a window of a truck. the passenger side bumper is chipped/scratched/scarred.

maybe time for a JDM upgrade? i will post pics when i get a chance.

PICTURES ADDED: Yes, i know my car is dirtay.

it will be okay.

i called the insurance company today and they are going to have someone come out and look at it and let me know an estimate. i doubt it will be over my deductible, but i pay them for service and they are nice, so i am going to use them. maybe go to a body shop and have them look and give me a suggestion.

Listen, just get the estimate and get a check (the car is paid off i assume) you should get around 1000.00 ill say. When i got rear ended and all i had to fix was my bumper i got 580.00 you need more stuff.

have to inpscetor come to your house if you can. Was your car towed?

you're right, sleepingblacksir on here have a jdm front bumper. He had to buy a special intercooler with inlet and outlet piping both on the same side of the FMIC in order to fit it behind the japanese shit

I had a large metal pipe fly towards my car once. It was in heavy traffic, so I moved to the right as far as I could with out scaring the crap out the guy next to me too much and hit the brakes. The pipe hit my front left fender and dented it a little bit. Then I was determined to find some sort of utility truck where this metal pipe might have come from but I failed.

I remember seeing a member's ride where they had an 04/05 CTR front end that where the front hole was carved out to exactly match the intercooler. It looked damn scary. I say go for it.
