So I have finally finished the install. Everything was a learning experience and I couldn't have done it without you guys. A special thanks to Jason (Weltall) for putting up with my late night phone calls and the late night text asking to him propably sounded like stupid amature questions but to me helped out tremendously. Thank You!!!

Justin (Full Race EP3)- Thanks a ton for the kit. I told you I wouldn't let you down and the kit is finished. I have hit boost a couple times and I might say, I believe you are going to be a little jealous. I will be out there on the 21st for tuning on the 23rd.

On with the pics.

I love this picture. I have it as my desktop. Kinda sums up the whole build for me. All the crap laying on top of the car. Hood off, bumper off and the rags laying everywhere, with the car of Vp Race fuel in the background.

Only had to drill one whole in the dash. Its hardly noticeable. I think it turned out halfway decent. Looks tons better with the radio and everything put back together.

Over all I am very very happy with this exhaust. I know it cost me 1200 bux, but I am very happy with the look and the sound. I will let you know about performance. It isn't a full 3", that is the only problem I have with it. It's a 70mm which puts it at 2.75" Fitment is great. Doesn't hang as low as most bigger exhaust. As far as sound, I don't know. i can't hear it over my wastegate. But I would rather hear the wastegate anyday.

There you go. i will have more and better pictures when it gets a little nicer and I can take it around town for pics.

Yeah, sorry i was at work and its hard to talk. Super loud and we have to wear ear plugs so its hard to hear.

Thanks for the comments guys. A full race show down at the bbq. Will not happen because I will not go up against Jason. My motor is stock and his has about 5,000 in the motor alone. I will wait until my rings start to fry and then mine will be built. Then I will THINK about running him at the track. Until then I will watch in awe like everyone else.

Golan, IT IS FINISHED..... and only a few weeks after you guys finished Mary's swap.

Thanks for the support guys.

kyle how many time do i have to say it

your setup is perfectly safe to run ~400 whp on the stock motor

only limited by the turbo though

for god sake man people are running 650+ with race gas on a stock a2

Its an a2. I hoping to get around 350 to the wheels. But like jason (weltall) said. my turbo is limiting. It will be a shot in the dark. But I have confidence in my tuner. Jeff Evans of Evans Tuning.

When this turbo goes, I will probably upgrade to at least a gt25 maybe a gt30. I am not ready for a gt35. I have all the supporting fuel mods. My car is set up to run a bigger turbo, just haven't gotten the turbo.

I will make a new members ride thread and post my mod list probably sometime this weekend.

hey stubby, what kind of supporting fuel system mods of have you done?

which rail, lines, injectors and pump?

ur coming up here for evans? lmk when :mangel:

weltall

return line
walhbro intank 255 hp gs342 part number
rising rate fuel pressure regulator
i think thats a golden eagle fuel rail in the pics
750's

on a built block this setup will support op wards of 500whp on race gas

or 420 on pump

turbo being the big part

stubbs dont go with a gt25

get the 3076r its better

gt25 will make the same power as your current one just alot faster
so it would be point less

Yo Jason whats the deal with the return line and the rising rate fuel pressure? I dont mean to jack but I wonder if I'll need it for my swap. I know how the RRFPR works but is it req'd?

I cant find anywhere how much you can get out of the EP with just injectors and upgraded walbro fuel pump? I dont want to hack up my tank if my setup can handle enough hp. I want the car to be able to return to stock, without buying a new gas tank.

Hey stubby that car will be awesome fun, good luck with the tuning.

pm me your number and ill explain it to ya over the phone since it goes soo far in depth

Stubby
04-23-2008, 08:17 PM
yeah, Jason's got it right. I have those fuel upgrades. I would upgrade my injectors to 1000's if I ever went bigger. But other than that I would keep it all the same.

Jeenyus-

I am going to be at evans on the 23rd. I am driving over on the 21st, getting a dumptube for my wastegate made on the 22nd @ First State Motorsports, and on the 23rd I am getting tuned. We are leaving on Saturday. I wish I could stay longer, but this is just the way thanks worked out. The tuning is scheduled to start at 10am. If you could make it out that would be awesome. I am going to post something in the regional section shortly.

I will give all the free rides to anybody that wants. I am sure it won't be anything special special. But it will be special since it is my first turbo and something that I done with my hands. I don't think I would trust anyone around here to do a kit like this.
