So im looking at getting some new springs because the h&r's sports that I have now just a tad too high for me, and I can't really afford coilovers at the moment. So im pretty sure that thesehttp://www.optionsauto.com/prodinfo.asp?number=HR-51866LE will fit but I know that it's going to drop it a little more than what I have now. But the main question is what is the spring rates on these compared to the coupe. Im thinking that these will be 20-30% higher than the coupe's spring rate so will that put it closer to the EP3 stock spring rate. I think that the 01-05 civic coupe is about 250 lbs. lighter than the EP3. So will these ride like dooky if i put them on, or will it ride just a little soft. Help me and thank you in advance.

Im really just trying to find the spring rate difference. to see how that will equal up to the weight difference.

Don't worry about spring rate if a 2 inch drop is not enough, you are going to be on your bump stops all the time anyway......fyi If you up your spring rates with out going to better damper, you will blow the old damper that is trying to controle that stiffer spring.:mangel:
