Here is an easy way to convert your 02'-03' signals to work w/ 04'-05' USDM or JDM headlights. There is no need to cut your OEM signal wire harness or dremel out the headlight housing. All this takes is a little creativity & patience. It took me all of 30mins to do.

Here is what you need:
- 12g Green & black wire(I used the same colour Honda does as to not creat any future confusion)
- 1pkg heat shrink tube
- Male & female connectors(make sure they fit snug over the connectors)
- Electrical tape
- Heat source ie, heat gun(I went w/ the ghetto method BBQ lighter)
- OEM light sockets

Difference b/w sockets:
- The 04'-05' on the left is smaller & has tiny male pins
- The 02'-03' on the right is larger & has bigger male prongs
- They are not interchangable into different gen headlights

02'-03' OEM wire harness & connector:
- Hard to see, but it has two female connectors
- One is attached to a grren wire the other to a black wire(be sure to match them up when making your DIY harness)

DIY harness:
- Here they are, each wire has a male & female connector crimped on
- Make sure they are secure, soldering is a option @ this point

OEM(female) & DIY harness attached:
- Press the male connector into the female OEM connectors(match the colours)
- Make sure they are secure & will come out w/ moderate force

OEM(male) & DIY harness attached:
- Slide the female connectors over the male pins
- Make sure they are snug & not contacting one another

Exposed DIY harness complete:
- Here is what it looks like before you put on the heat shrink tube & seal it up
- Make sure you don't melt the wires or connectors when using the heat source

Completed harness:
- Here it is all sealed up
- Now do the same to the other side & voila, you have signals

Thanks for the info, I just picked up my ctr projectors and I'm looking for as much info I can find before I attempt to install them.

It's really quite easy to do. I don't like cutting the factory harness or hacking up parts. The voltage is low enough to not hurt anything either.

nice write up. This will come in handy when I decide to do the conversion.

PM'd the OP myself about the missing pics hoping he'd have em stashed somewhere, haven't heard back though. His last activity was a couple weeks ago, guess he's not on very often.

But yeah, I'm half-ass done with my install, signals are electrical-taped in to the sockets right now LOL! Ghetto!
Hoping he'll pop on and at least be able to clarify the DIY a bit.

Need this too, been running no headlight turnsignals for over a year. Hate the double time turn ticking!
