Bought the SPC camber kit a while back and now I need the rears again. I noticed 02-05 Civic SI is not listed as compatible. Can someone confirm the one for Acura: 2002 & Up RSX and Honda: 2001 - 05 Civic will fit?

the rear shouldnt matter but the front is model specific for the 03+ rsx-s. in fact the upper control arm for the dc5 and ep3 are the same part #

edit: not true. the rsx pn is 52390-S6M-A00 while the ep is 52390-S5D-901. the first 5 are the same but im not sure what the rest means.

kind of weird i dont know but...i got the SPC Front camber kit..and when i put it in...the nut doesnt go all the way in..it stops a certain spot and you cant screw it in any further so the bolt can slide left to right...is that suppose to be normal??

Do you guys prefer to use the SPC camber kit or do you prefer others like Ingalls or Eibach? I think Progress may make one, but I'm not 100% sure. I was doing a little research on them and while the ingalls front camber kit can accomplish ~+/-0.25 degree more camber than the SPC kit; however the SPC rear camber kit can accomplish +/- 3 degrees more camber than the Ingalls.

I haven't gotten time to compare the Eibach to the SPC or the Ingalls, but your opinions in this matter would be nice. I was hoping to buy a camber kit in the near future and I was hoping to see who liked what set up and why. Thanks ahead of time for your opinions!

They all work the same, all are good companies and any of them will do the job. the only thing that you should look into is getting a kit with rubber or poly. bushings, rubber is quiet and poly. ones tends to squeak.

and i beleive the progress and eibach kits are just SPC kits.

Which kits are rubber? I need to get a rear camber kit badly. My rear tires were worn down to slicks due to not runing a camber kit. I'm liking the price on that SPC from Rockauto...

Ingalls makes a rubber kit, i believe it was around $120 or so.
How much are the spc kit your looking at?
I want to get a rubber kit, my poly. ingalls kit squeaks even after i greased it, is kinda annoying lol.

I'm looking at the Rockauto one. $78.79 for a rear camber kit isn't too bad.

If you lubercate the poly bushings properly, they will not squeak. Once the lubercation gets dirty or gets washed away, they will need to be re-lubercated.

Too lazy haha, it gets pretty tiring having to lube it from time to time, not worth it for a street car.

Yeah, I hear you. Mine is my baby....any poly bushings I have or will install get lubercated regularly...i check them after every oil change (or sooner if it is wet outside). Thanks for the info on the Eibach and the Progress camber kits.

when u instal them ur suposed to wait untill the car is on the ground to tighten the bolt that goes to the knuckle or it will cause premature wear and may squeak.

I was just talking about poly bushings needing to be lubed, not trying to tell someone to instal something incorrectly. :mfrown: I know how to install them, I was just saying that any and all bushings that are poly should be lubed on a regular basis. :mfrown:

just make sure after you put the camber kit on to get an alignment done to the car for the best results....

The bushings are rubber in my spc kit. I have one Ingalls bolt in the top of my fronts, and could only get 1.5 degrees neg camber max.

What was the tire wear like on the rears? Just on the inside or all over? And when was the last time the alignment was done? When you lower the car the camber will change, of course, but also toe will change and thats what causes most of the wear. I'd go to a place where they do free alignment checks and see where you sit, get a printout, and go from there. Factory specs should be available and if you're at -1.0 or less (like -.9, -.8) you should be fine without a kit especially on a 55 or 60 series tires.

Factory upper links for EP and DC5 are exactly the same length, only difference is DC5 bushing is harder. I'm using slotted and welded DC5 links for camber correction.
