thats a damn good comparison. id have to say that the 04 05 stock is better but i the mugen is sexy.

i think the 04-05 type-r is a much cleaner install compared to the 04-05 mugen grill, but that's only from what i've seen.

does anyone know how to fit either grill on the USDM bumper?
i know moonsi and miaep3 fit it on the JDM bumper...

yeah the price and has to be 3M taped to the bumper....think i'mma get type R grille first, can alway change to mugen later. Oh does anyone know if the 04/05 mugen front lip also need 3M tape???

Nothing more JDM than a chickenwire grill.
$5 for a 30 foot roll @ HomeDepot, so even if you mess up cutting it out .. 40 times you'll still have plenty to keep trying until you get it right.

not the lip, just tons of hardware and some strange bar that somehow mounts to the rebar [I never mounted it]. me and julio just drilled the lip to the bumper in the wheel wells and the under side, it was fine...

thats the same as the 02/03 type r grill minus the raised ugly badge...

if you had a mugen lip i say mugen grill, if type r, then type r...though there is something nice to be said for that large emblem with the nice chamfered piece under it on the type r grill...they are both very nice i think...

yeah I am CTR'd now, Julio is using the mugen stuff for his full out build. Im trying not to dump too much more money into the car until I have it paid off...
