What do you use to stop the rattling on the dash kit?

Well I'm half way on the right track by switching from using the cage for my hu to iso mount. So there is no rattle with the dash kit cover off. But since the cover is just plastic on plastic with the dash, it rattles on a bumpy road. I noticed on the oem pocket that there is a felt tape set around the edge. Is that the only thing that would work, or maybe some kind of thick tape?

should be a thick tape. i got some at HOME DEPOT they are red. i believe it is the only red tape. that should work. try it.

I usually glue some ensolite foam to the edges to prevent it from rattling becuase I have some left over from doing the door panels, but some felt tape would work too.

On my brother-in-law, we used foam tape from Home Depot and wrapped it around a precut foam piece.
