Turn signal problem

This started happening to me a day ago. Whenever I use the turn signals while I'm pressing the brakes, they dont work. Even the hazards dont work. I thought it was a fluke at first but everytime I have the turn signals on and then press the brakes, they shut off. Is it a fuse or wiring problem?

I honestly have no idea. When your braking this happens? Hmm. Hopefully somebody else can help you.

Yeah, they work fine when I'm cruising. And when I'm braking, they dont work.

How can the breaks have anything to do with wires? i don't recall where the pedal could hit the wires and short them out.

Does the brake light wiring run through the same housing as the turn signal wiring? That might be something.

had this problem in the past. check the wiring. on top of it, check the fuse on the light. when i braked, the lights did not work.. replaced light the next day :mwink: good luck
