Not our car, but a person who knows EPs well might be able to customize that mod to ours. *patiently waiting*

Posted with some ganked info from k-series.com, but without an attempt to sell you a product you can make yourself.

EP Ground Wire Installation

What you need:

Socket Wrench
10mm Socket
12mm Socket
Socket Extension
Zip Ties
4-8g wire- Oxygen Free, sleeved in color of choice. (I went with Red)
Gold plated terminal caps
Heat shrink wrap- color of choice
Wire cutters
Wire strippers capable of stripping insulation on 4-8g wire
Wire crimpers capable of crimping connectors on 4-8g wire
Heat Gun or small lighter

Alternatively, you can by the "JDM grounding kit" from Ebay which will come with all the wires pre-cut to appropriate lengths, crimped, terminated, wrapped and ready to go. It'll also come with this nifty Bracket that helps keep all the wires neatly arranged - cost is around $20 shipped.

My engine bay!... yes I know its dirty :mangel:

2. Negative to strut tower ground http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/ABorthwick/Grounding%20Kit/GroundingKit007.jpg
3. Negative to nut on intake manifold. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/ABorthwick/Grounding%20Kit/GroundingKit010.jpg
4. Intake manifold to ground by pulleys. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/ABorthwick/Grounding%20Kit/GroundingKit011.jpg
5. Ground by pulleys to valve cover.

Posted with respect to k-series.com. Mine is currently off bc I was installing a header recently and it was in the way.

1. Start by checking the lengths of your wires (if you bought it yourself) from Negative Battery terminal to grounding points 1, 2, and 3

2. Then measure a length of wire from grounding point 3 -> 4, then from 4 -> 5. Remember to route the wires away from engine heat by tucking them under the frame around the headlamps, and along the back of the passenger- side strut tower.

3. Once all lengths of wire have been measured and Identified, terminate each end in terminal caps and heat shrink wrap the connections.

Setting the Grounds

1. Start by loosening the negative battery terminal (10mm)

2. Add ground wires for locations 1, 2 and 3 to the negative battery terminal and tighten it down.

3. Connect Wire 1 to the battery tie down.

4. Connect Wire 2 to the Strut Tower Grounding point

5. Connect Wire 3 to the intake manifold bolt (10mm), but dont tighten the bolt down yet.

6. Run Wire 4 from the intake manifold to the Motor Mount Ground near the pulleys (10mm). Tighten the manifold bolt down, but do not tighten Motor Mount Ground Bolt yet. Make sure you tuck it underneath the frame and secure with zip ties.

7. Run the last wire from the Motor Mount ground near the pulley to rear of the valve cover. Tighten down both bolts. Make sure you run the wire along a path behind the engine to avoid heat and secure with zip ties.

8. As the last step, remove the IM Cover and locate the Fuel Rail ground (Yellow Nut) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/ABorthwick/Grounding%20Kit/GroundingKit013.jpg

Re-locate this ground to the valve cover as per Hondata's recommendations for proper ECU protection.

This is likely unnecessary if you do not have Kpro, but is a good practice while you are working on this project.

9. All Done!

:smokin::bathbaby: Take a rest and clean yourself up! Enjoy less power spikes and smoother Idle operation. When I finished this, my idle went from 1000-1100 to 800 steady.
