hey guys im trying to install my rotors and some how the freaken two screws on the rotors are so hard to unscrew. any advise?

Screwdriver + hammer....

As in put the screwdriver in the screw and hit it with a hammer a few times to loosen it up a bit.

Or, just drill them out. They arnt needed. (they are there simply to keep the rotors on when the car was being built)

Find the correct size blunt phillips and if you strip it no worries. Just use a drill and drill it out. I do it all the time. After that make sure you have some extra screws to put back on.

You will need an impact driver set. They have them in most auto parts stores.

This is the correct way to do it, but I don't have one and improvise. :rockon:

If you mangle the screw head up, drilling the heads off works the best, then pop the rotor off and use a pair of vise grips to remove the remaining screw shank.

There is a tool you can use to unscrew it. It looks like a fat screw driver with a built in impact. you can change tips on it. I beleive that what the post before me were taling about.

what kind of rotor's are you trying to install?

Brembo slotted rotors, because I have nevered changed the brake pads and rotors ever since i bought the car haha thats why its kinda hard to get it off.

what size drill bit should use? because the impact drive aint workin
