I understand the basics of getting a tune, but how early should someone plan on getting a tune. Is it only beneficiary if u have boost or power adds in building the motor such as fuel rail, cams and what not. But if i only have the basic add ons like exhaust, intake, header, but planning on adding a fuel rail and fuel pump and couple other add ons when should I plan on getting a tune or do i not need one at all?

i would wait to get more mods if you dont plan on building after what you have i wouldnt get it tuned. if you get cams or forced induction get tuned asap.

I/hr/e = no real need to get tuned, a reflash will do what you need. i/rh/e/im/tb/cams/rods/pistons = tune asap.

How come i thought it was better for higher horse power... Huh guesss i was wrong, if the pump and rail dont do much then why does everyone swap the stock ones out?

For sure man I go to Azusa Pacific so i head up there at least once a week. One of my friends trashed his CRX like two months ago, lost control at the third turn ( I think) after the dam. Do you go cruz up there?

Ive seen rsx's with 450whp on stock rails. Now the pump yeah they give out shortly after the 300 mark, maybe a touch more with a return line and fpr but why risk it? If your staying n/a stick with a stock pump but the rail is up to you:mwink:
