Polishing 02-03 stockies?

Has anybody thought about polishing their 02-03 stockies?

Nope but i have thought about re-painting them...but i cant quite put my finger on what the stock color it is...white or silver...confused?

Yeah my bud was going to do mine last year but I decided on 'coating them black..sorry.

My wheels were covered with billions of spots of primer that has dried up. I just cleaned them with a steel wool soap pad to take off the primer and once they dried I noticed the wheel was covered in small scratches as if I took sand paper to take it off. Now it is bothering me, I want to repaint them silver and get all the scratches off.

i would like to see what it would look like, even though im not really a fan of polished wheels.

i asked this question a while back b4 the database crashed... couldn't find anyone with 02-03s but 04-05 yes, there were some...

scared it might look bad but I'm thinking about it. any pictures of the 04 05?

this was tried and proven to fail a number of years ago . . . the alloy that the wheels are comprised of contains too much magnesium. They will not polish, and it will look terrible. You will ruin your wheels and then end up painting them

^^ sigh guess I'll repaint. How about some post of stockies painted any color? Or if anybody out there have repainted them back to it's original color.
