I used the 3M restoration kit. Worked great. Just make sure you use a corded power drill, not a battery powered one.

Once they're THAT yellow, all that elbow grease will definitely be in vain. :mrolleyes: Sorry dude!
They'll, at least, never look anything like new and will need constant attention to keep them looking like they are NOT shot..

If you can't afford different headlights yet, I'd just paint them bishes yellow for now...
I've restored quite a few sets of semi-yellowing headlights and time was never an issue, but SERIOUSLY, I won't ever put myself through that again. :frusty:

I got it from an art/craft store in a single, sheet-form. I still have my stock 15's, so I didn't want to paint them.

I don't have Rotas, but I wanted black, flat ones too. IDK.. Just an idea that you might be able to work with... Good luck!

IDK if the 02-03 or the 04-05 stock caps would fit (I'm pretty sure one of the two would), but I do know that it's the hexagon/nut-shape that he mostly doesn't like, so he's gonna have to find something.

3m FTW! I'd definitely recommend something stronger than the duct tape. It's held up for a long time, but I have to rub wrinkles out of it once in a while... Automotive grade vinyl would be best, if not just painting them...

i have 17 X 8s with 235 tires at a +38 offset and i'm running like less than a degree of camber all around. his setup is definitely not that aggressive

he's only on 7" wide rims... +38 on 8s is a little different. I have 16x7 +40 track wheels and need negative camber not to rub... but i'm also on 225s.

it's different in a less aggressive way. having the same offset just means that his stick out 1/2" less than mine. fenderwork also plays a role though

They were just too sunk in. Even though its only 5mm, it made a subtle difference and I am pleased.

They use the OEM lugnuts. The wheels are just made by Enkei, they do make OEM wheels for alot of vehicles.

Everytime I'm in here I never remember what wheels are on, so once and for all, both sets.

Love the beefy look don't feel the foglight covers though. Just my opinion.

Not a big fan of the covers myself, but the previous owner must have cut the holes for the foggies with a sharp rock. The covers may not be for everyone, but the holes look much worse. I am still looking for some expanded aluminum but thus far, no luck. I am slowly building the courage to do the needed trimming on the lip to fit the yellow foggies back in place though. I have decided that I will be ordering the lip in fiberglass and fitting to a new bumper when I respray the car in a few months. I am really surprised at the clearance the lip offers though.
I am in San Antonio.

Picked up a couple sets of 17's last month...

17x8.5 with +35 offset. Came mounted with some almost new Nexen 224/45 rubber. I also picked up a set of 17x7 Drag 23's in flat black as well. That would be the Slipstream rep. Probably run the Nexens on the Drags and fit some 215/45's on the XXR's. Dont wanna add too much more camber out back do its probably time for a proper roll.

It's a big car crossed with a little poor photo skills & a lot of not caring about framing the shot at 1AM. I had a late soccer game & then had to install extended lugs to fit 10mm spacers to clear my brakes. I was les tired.

17x8 +40 225/45/17 rubs a little in the rear on a full tank over bumps. Ordered rear camber kit so I can put my coilovers on and take the drop springs off, then new tires.

For a 7.5" width the ideal tire size is 225. For 235's you'll want an 8" width. My auto-x wheels are 16x7 and I have 225s on them and they balloon a little in the side walls. I'm thinking I may go to a 7.5" width after these tires are toast.
