im installing my progress sway bar and some how i cant put it on, the passener side of the sway bar seems to be touching on the back of my stock muffler, its really tight with no room. if i try to push the sway into place and fasten the bolts, the sway bar will be putting alot of pressure towards the back of my muffler. can anyone help?

Maybe you have the bar on the wrong way? Trying flipping it around.

Mines did the same thing, hit the muffler, i just went to a shop and had them put a 1" pipe to extended my muffler further out to clear the bar. the progress bar seems to have many issues with few exhaust systems out there, including stock.

Two questions. What year EP, and version of the sway bar 22 or 24mm? Progress has a difference from the 02-03 and 04-05 models.
