You're wearing one. Just use a sock. Or buy a wristband.

Quick, slap a Spoon logo on that thing(you already have the right colors) so it doesn't look so . . .I can't hate too much mine burns my hand too.

What would be a better suggestion on how to protect your hand from being burnt then? Or did you just wanna flame?

how about you go to dillards and buy some cheap lady's stockings..
The sheer black kind.
and cut a piece off and tie it around or something.
Or maybe cut the end of the foot off and slide it ontop of there
they're so tight that it would probably fit quite snug on it and would help you with the heat im sure.

Gay or not (the answer is not, come on guys), that looks like it would be a lot better than the thin baby sock I'm currently using. I'm definitely going to have to get one. Thanks for posting up the link.

Edit: I was looking at their site and noticed that they sell 'summer' and 'winter' styles, but there's no explanation for what that means. I sent them an email about it, and will post up the response when I get it.

Edit 2: Here's what I got

"Thanks for your interest! Summer version uses 100% cotton material, so it is not as warm in cold mornings but a bit cooler against the sun. Cotton colors in general could look a bit faded also. Both are overall good enough to use throughout the year."

"Cool. What is the winter version made out of, a cotton/poly blend or something else like that?"

"Different combination of cotton/poly blend depending on color."

Unfortunately, Honda doesn't make any of the cool shift knobs for 5-speeds.

when you park the car put a ahnd towel or something to that effect on your knob... when you drive take it off... it should block a significant amount of heat.

Well, isn't it kinda given that we are talking aftermarket here? Just another smartass comment...

a smartass comment would be, "don't put a metal shift knob in direct sunlight!" the question was, what to do to keep from burning ones hand, and a non-metal shift knob is the best answer. I have a spoon aluminum knob, but I hated it in winter, and I hate it in summer. thats why I'm running my stock one, SMARTASS!

i didnt really mind the colors. i do wish that i had gotten black but i was tempted by the "spoon" theme haha but it does its job. its not like i leave it on there. i take it off whenever the knob is cool enough. and for 5$ i could care less. the dingleberries do piss me off though. but if someone were to make one, someone make it with grip underneath.

Haha. I just don't touch it for longer than I have to. It doesn't get THAT hot.

How about window tinting? Keep the interior cooler overall. (NOT a smartass comment).:llama:
