I have plans to put some cams in my EP in the future......

my mods right now are:

DCRH
COLD AIR INTAKE
GREDDY EVO2 CATBACK
HIMG

NEXT MOD IS k-PRO

Other than upgrade the valvetrain, do i need any other mod or part to get the cams working fine??!!

no thats for a3s. also. just for good measures. although there have been only 1-2 issues with sk2 for the a3 there are at least 20 people having issues with sk2 for the a2 better safe then sorry.

I lost a TCT in my a3 to BC stg2 cams... and tore one up in less than 5k miles in my k24 with BC stg3's. I had NO issue with Skunk2 stg1 cams in the a3 though. Personally, if you wanna cam, swap heads (a2) and use OEM cams for that reliability factor... but you are gonna need to make some changes to your bottom end to take advantage of both the cams AND the rpm's.

for the a2 yes. For every other application, it's fine.

damn, that's insane.....2 toda's is like 300 bucks right there....and 10 miles??? shit man, that blows hella....i'd have given up in a crying fit!!!

u will be alright until u start runnin cams and upgraded valve train. the stiff springs and steep ramp angles in the cams causes stress on the spring in the tct....too much for it to handle. chunky found a solution and is running it in his built a3 bottom end with the k20a2 head with skunk2 stage 2's and the cam gear with NO ISSUES!

Man you have no idea how glad i am they are workin for ya! That ish was so disappointing for me, but i pass on what happened to me when people ask!

I am SOOO resisting the urge to boost. A friend of mine is practically ready to "steal my car" and drop a gt35r in it just so he can see what itll do (hes an SRT4 guy... go figger). Im definitely out of the cam game. Ill be lookin for mo powah elsewhere! :mangel:

yea, they are workin great so far. and shadow i have upgraded valve train.....i have bc stage 2 cams......
