In NC, no, there isn't. I removed my airbag/steering wheel in my eg and replaced it with a Nardi. The inspectors never noticed it.

Now, on the ep3, when you pull the steering wheel, you WILL get the airbag/srs light on. Resetting it will not work. It senses there is an airbag missing/damaged.

I'm betting the 2 ohm resistor trick will work, as we did it on a coworkers RSX to disable his passenger side dash airbag.

If you buy the Mugen hub, it comes with a bypass for the SRS.

you CANNOT pass inspection here in virginia with a quick release setup. A close friend of mine was in a reck with a quick release setup and she told me it's not worth it at all. I personally like the ep3 steering wheel... so I might just keep mine for the purpose of it having an airbag. But who knows...

TRUE THAT!! I received one in my Scion xB (on the 57N at Imperial Hwy), but the cop just wanted to be a dick. It was a fix-it ticket though and local PD just signed it off.

The stock wheel is the best looking wheel of all the stock wheels in all the cars ive owned. Better than aftermarket, its the perfect size, perfect color and a good quality material. Plus no idiot lights or hassles from pigs. its, well, perfect. If you want to spend like 300-400 on a wheel to be different, you can get a great cond. DC-5R/EP3R wheel for that

The bypass worked for me when I had the FG360. You can create your own bypass, it just needs a negative terminal to end the loop.

what quick release fits the mugen steering wheel?

Works Bell or any that will match the bolt patterns.

i thought if u removed an airbag steering you, you have to have a 4 point harness

fuse box? no.. i thought it connects to to the SRS plug thats attached to the steering wheel

Neg. That would be breaking a law too. You can't remove the original seatbelts from a car unless they are defective, so I'm guessing using an aftermarket harness would be illegal.

It is suppose to. However, since your SRS is delayed anyways and no longer works, try sticking the bypass into the fuse box LOL. It was just a thought and it might work.
