im tryin to put a type s tranny in any suggestions, any one done this? havin trouble removin it. do i have to remove the sub frame? any tips help

lol the subframe on our car is a bitch to put back on......the best and easiest way to change the tranny would be to drop the motor.

I've lost count on how many subframs I've dropped/installed with no problems. A nice 3 Ton jack and a 4x4 going across the bottom of the sub frame and your golden! Droping the engine just for the tranny is just shooting yourself in the foot.

I completely agree

think it was bad that i was too lazy and busy to install my 6spd tranny lol. and now im selling it.

yea droppin the subframe is pretty easy....i have lifts but if ya don't, do like bruce aka civic5lug said, its simple

basicly i worked from 10-12 on friday (just unbolting little things and getting ready for saturday, and on saturday i worked from 2pm-3am before i got everyhting buttoned up, it would have been quicker with another set of hands but you work with what god gave you
