Just picked this bad boy up about 2 hours ago. After 4 years of no CRX I'm happy to say I've found another one.

1990 Honda CRX HF
D15B8 Motor w/ 16V head.
CRX SI Tranny
PM6 ECU with Turbo Edit
14" (:meek:) HX wheels painted black
Full SI interior

It's lowered on no name ebay springs with a camber kit on what I believe to be stock shocks. It's pretty clean and I'm really looking forward to having a project again! If anyone is familiar with turbo edit or just have suggestions or know where to source CRX parts now-a-days post up and let me know!

I paid $1900. Talked him down from $2,200. I don't know if a K swap is in the future or not. I'm trying to figure out which swap would be most worth it or if I want to swap it at all. I'm sure that I'll do something wild since it's not my daily.

If you're planning to autocross, familiarize yourself with the SCCA rules & mod to class.

nice pick up! did it have a total repaint sometime in its life? I never knew that you could get an HF in red. I thought it was an Si only color, kinda like the yellow.

The body looks really straight! I'd keep the SI motor and trans, it's plenty of power to keep up in stock class at autox. :mwink:

Love it! Si interior is a huge improvement to the HF. It's nice that someone already went through the hassle of puttin' it in for ya. Whats with the driver door hinge?

lol, the HF seats blow. One of the first things I did on mine.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I'm pretty stoked and looking forward to spending lots of time on it. The paint is original. It was just maintained really well I guess. The Si interior is a vast improvement over the HF. Although my old DX had the cargo cover, tilt steering and AC. But the way I see it now is it's all dead weight I don't have to worry about. The drivers door hinge rusted out. It's the one spot of rust I can find. Not a big deal though, it still opens and closes great. I was glad to see the stock shift knob but it's stripped out inside so it just spins. Going to have to see if the EP's will fit for now.
And the Maroon color Replica was talking about I know came on the DX too cause that was the color mine was. With a full black interior. Color code R-72P if I remember correctly. Overall I think it was worth every bit of the $1900 I paid out.

I had my EP knob on my CRX. Fits like a glove, but looks kinda tall. The best shift knob for a CRX is the Integra GSR knob, from the DC2's. Great knob.

It's still up in the air, I'm thinking either clean, subtle, JDM inspired daily or Autocross. Haven't really decided.
