if im not mistaken, the ctr calipers are the same as the ones used on the rsx-s and the honda s2000. don't take my word on that though, do some research on it.

Have you tried to contact company's that are world wide in parts and see if they can get you the part number?

Use RSX-S pads...exact same calipers.

x2. i know because i actually bought the ctr calipers. i took off my front wheel and measured the width and length of the calipers. they're the same. the only difference is that the ctr caliper says "type-r"

nice! oh and before i forget i still have rear calipers off the ep3 ctr brake setup i bought. the rears are the exact same as the ep3 and rsx both base and type-s models. the only thing that differs is the bolt pattern on the 02-03 ep3 being 4 lug. there were some numbers on the rear calipers which seemed to be the part number. those matched the ones on my car.

Wow, I just saw your ride on honda-tech. Nice car but I can see finding parts must be a pain.

it really shouldn't. most ep3 parts are compatible between jdm and usdm ep3's. i can see some minor exceptions though.

It shouldn't be a pain @ all. Although imported an EP3R is a waste of money IMO, the AP2 pads are a direct fit. I don't see how S2K pads could be smaller because it fits directly into my Spoon Calipers.

the rear rsx calipers have the same part number as the s2000 which were too small.

The part numbers shouldn't be the same because the S2000 has different rear calipers. The front calipers however are the same.

When buying pads for the JDM/UKDM Civic Type R...stick with anything that fits the RSX-S (front and rear). Nothing specific about the EP3-R brake system.

The S2000 has the same front calipers as the RSX-S (in fact these are what Mugen uses for their Active Gate brake system for EG/EK Civics); however the rear calipers are different.

if your ep is an ep3-r then yea. if its a regular old ep3-si you would need the front knuckle from the dc5-s

Im using DC5- Front calipers on the FIT and use OE pads for daily driving, and Cobalt racing pads for track days.

Are you going to get new rotors?

its a jdm model. still has 6 speed lsd. i think the ukdm model only had open dif. jdm's got more power. speedo is only in kilometers.
i have legal plates on it.
the previous owner did all the paperwork to legalize it in california after he imported it.

EP3R front and rear pads uses the same one as DC5 Type S or RSX-S. I'm using DC5 Type S' front and rear pads. Even on my Spoon calipers.
