I have seen the instructions on ephatch.com before the website went down. can someone repost how to wire the brake light on the replica type r wings?

i cut the existing harness thingymabob. cut the adapter plug thing off and take those 2 wires and the brake light wires and twist/solder/heat shrink then wrap in electrical tape them together

You could also use wire those clamp-on wire splice things (believe they're called "quick splices") to splice into the wires without actually cutting them. This might be useful in the future if you want to put the car back to stock to sell it, as it would allow you to keep the stock plug.

You basically put both wires in the double-wire shaped opening (on the bottom), use a pair of pliers to push the metal tab (on top) down through both wires, then close the plastic clip on top. It really easy, and easily reversible.
