You got ALOT of leaning to do on those yellow seats...lol. I've never seen yellow for the EP3. Honda-Tech has a great link for cleaning those seats.

I want your red carpet...DIBS!!!!

Sorry my english is not really well. it took me like 4 hours to take off the seats and the skins of the seats. The worst part is the skin of the rear bottom seat and to take of the rear back of the car. after i went to a upholsterer to get them sew. then i put the skin back on for myself. I bought the fabric (synthetic suede) at the upholsterer. I will post better pics this week, my camera is at work. Thanks for the comments really appreciate.

That looks absolutely sharp. If I were keeping stock seats would be something to think about. Might do something similar in the back depending on what seats i eventually get.
Don't worry your english is a lot better than a large portion of the people on here. Red on white FTW!!!!

first i ordered a sample of the neon cut pile red, after i ordered the carpet, it's not really hard to install you just need time and be careful when you cut the carpet and the hole. have fun.

I think I'm gonna try this out in a few weeks. My mom is a seamstress and has an industrial sewing machine at home, so I'll get her to do the sewing for me. I ordered samples of the neon red, plush bright red, and plush firethorn colors. I'll get pics up comparing them as well as a DIY. Stay tuned :mwink:

I recieved my red samples yesterday as well.

I can't decide which go best with the JDM recaro's.

If I had the stock seats, it would'nt be so hard, but it's really hard to match reds.

Good stuff.

I already have the JDM red recaro seats installed, it's the carpet I can't match up. The 4 samples I got just did'nt match and I don't like the feel of the material.

The neon red just seemed too bright. One was way too dark and the other 2, one seemed orange and the other looked old and shag carpetish.

If I had the stock seats in, then the red would'nt be so trivial. But my seats are BRIGHT red, and to have different red so close together would look tacky.

I am looking for some insert material for the doors (JDM door panels are just way too overpriced). The link you provided looked helpful.

Thanks.

Yea I think Honda must of had issues with this as well cause the floormats and carpet just don't match they are close but with red its must be really hard to color match.

How much did you pay per yard if you don't mind me asking? I've been searching around for prices and Ultrasuede / Alcantara is kinda pricey. It's like $100/yd. at most places. I found some other stuff that is supposed to be pretty good and its about $45/yd.

I found some faux suede material at JoAnn fabrics today that matches the jdm recaros seats PERFECTLY. The lady gave me a sample and I went outside and held it up to the seat. Exact match. I checked it in the shade, under the seat, etc.

I purchased 1 yard for $25 and dropped my door panels off at a local upholsterer. I showed him what I wanted and he said it'd be only $20 per door.

He said it SHOULD be ready by Tuesday.

I'll post pics when they are done.
