I went through a set of AD07 in 1 auto-cross event and 2 open track days. Traction was not an issue, though I had a 27mm rear sway that kept on making me oversteer.

I've run the T1R's before and would buy them again. Their pretty sticky, they don't tramline, have a comfortable ride and has decent tread wear for a performance tire. They don't get sticky till after a couple of hundred miles on them though, not a problem for me because I don't run my new tires hard until I've heat cycled them a few times anyways.

a pair of RE-01Rs came on the Gram Lights I was rolling on for a couple months. They didnt grab the road very well. id personally recommend the BFGoodrich G-Force KDWS.

What size are you going to run? I'd choose the Neova of those 3, but for my money I will stick with the Falken 615s.

They all have pretty good reviews.

The KDW's get good reviews and are arguably the baddest looking...

proxes FTW.
they dont have as good tread life as the bridgestone, but they've got better dry and better wet grip and better lateral grip and the tread pattern is sexier. I would just forget about the advan, not worth the money.

You sure they were RE-01's? They're arguably the most grippy street tire there is.. certainly much better than the KDW..

Tires to have for pure grip in order of best to worst - although some of the placings are debatable.

1. RE-01 (Bridgestone)
2. RT-615 (Azenis)
3. AD07 (Yokohama)
3. Z1 (Dunlop)
4. RS2 (Hankook)

Not sure about straight line grip though...

yep, im looking right at them as i type this. they are sitting in my living room. I've driven the same roads aggressively with both the RE-01s and the KDWs and the KDWs outperformed the RE-01s, but thats just my experience.

I've got BFG KDW2's on my C6. Don't get the BFGs, they are not in the same league as the other tires.

just do 12" rims with slicks, just dont drive in the rain.

i bought eagle f1 's 8 months ago....so far stickier than a gas station bathroom floor.... when i first got them they barely spun out of first. i dont know about now....after spending that money i realize i should be nice to them. i have taken some stupid turns at some stupid speeds... tire-quality>suspension-quality(stock). tires dont slip, just feel like rolling over and dying..:boink:

KDWs are the best for a DD but I would go with Toyo or Potenzas for dry only use.

-
can't fit rims smaller than 17" cause of the brakes.
-
got some Falken 615's (235-40-17).
still no traction at the dragstrip.
out of 10 runs friday night, the best one was:
(altitude 5200ft)
e.t.----14.114
@-----105.70 mph
60ft---2.517

Stiff sidewalls = not so much straight ahead grip. Falkens and any of the tires you mentioned will not be as good as a drag radial. For the twisties though they are the sh*t. The Yokos got the best cornering rating of the bunch at the tire rack road tests.

of those my choice goes to the Neova's.

but if your looking for good striaght line accel then i say some Nitto nt555 drag radials.
