idk why they even tell you the year of the kit... yeah it's all the same man. the only difference is that 04 side skirts are not the same as HFP skirts, iirc, so make sure your 04 kit comes with SOME sort of skirts. both look good with the HFP lips, you just want to make sure you have something on all sides. love that kit.

the side skirts take a little bit of work. the 04/05's have holes under the door that allow for clips that attach to the side skirts, to push into.

02/03's dont have those holes under the doors.

so, you have to use flat sticky clips. $5 per clip, at minimum you need 12, 6 per side. or you could go all out and use 12 per side.

This is wrong...only the JDM skirts need the sticky clips on the 02-03.

The HFP kit skirts have their own clips and require no drilling. In fact on the 04-05 you end up removing the plastic body clips for the OEM skirt when installing the HFP skirts.

so if i have an 03 and want the hfp sides i dont have to drill into the body?

no.

after some reading, the HFP skirts mount differently than the OEM 04/05's.

i wish the mounting equipment for the HFP's worked on the OEM's. =(

He speaks the truth!
I have an 03 and when I installed the kit I needed no extra parts just what comes with the kit

moved to proper subforum.

The hfp come with everything you need. to be honest, i would not even use the 3 rails the give you. at least for me they made it worse than anything. the skirts are super light. i dont think you to use them. you have 3 brackets also under the skirts. They bolts up to the chassis.
