View Full Version : a2 head with a3 bottom

so i am getting an a2 head for like 200 bucks from my friend,, i would like to know what is the cheapest way for me to bolt the head onto the a3 bottom? can i still use the stock ecu? is there anything i have to change? i tried to search, but nothing really helped.. thanks guys

you pretty much need everything for the type-s. injectors, spark plugs, new head gasket, intake manifold gasket, and etc. you will need to run kpro for the sway to work properly. that way you can tune it

You will need Kpro, head gasket, fluids and misc stuff. It is ALOT of work.

get ready for one big headache after another...its a LOT of work to get that combo running right...but good luck to ya. it'll all pay off when yourre done.

you'll need a lot of energy drinks just to get you through the day. i went through maybe 5 a day with alot of water

took me and 3 other ephatch members 6 hrs for a head swap.

look for a k24 block, and then put the head on that!

its a decent amount of work, but not too bad. i put my head back on myself in under 3hrs. but i have a full a2 swap. just make sure u tq. everything down in the right sequence and to the right specs
