All I did was pry the factory "H" off (use a butter knife wrapped in electrical tape so you don't scratch anything), clean the surface with a small alcohol pad, and stick the new ones in. Simple as that.

Front one is screwed on, you will need to AT LEAST remove the top retainers and wiggle a stubby Phillips in there, the H assembly will come off and leave a space for the new ones. The rear can be removed by slipping a piece of string (like kite string) in there and sawing the foam double backed adhesive off, watch the lip around the badge when "sawing" the heat from the friction of the string goes thru the foam tape nicely.. Remove all residue, prep area with denatured alcohol and stick the new ones on.

you can't do that with the front one.. two screws have to come off the back. take off the bumper and take out the two screws. then remove the stock emblem and black mounting piece. clean and dry the area to remove any excess glue or crap, then peel off the sticker and slap it on.

for the rear, i used a tiny screwdriver, then repeat the cleaning process.

Mine must have been replaced by someone, maybe the previous owner. It literally just popped off. No screws. I thought it was kind of odd....lol.

Thinking of smoking my red be badges. If I remove them what is the best way to restick them? do I need some kind of adhesive?

3m double sided tape should do the trick.

Any adhesive that is used in the car audio world that I may have on hand?

The 3M double sided foam tape is your best bet.
