On my way back from SEMA I was able to really open it up.

I was afraid to push it any further;didn't wanna hit fuel cut-off. 137mph was just a hair before 7100rpm.

In the words of Brian Spilner... "I need NOS." Gotta hate that pretty boy, but cant wait to see the Skyline in 2. Congrats on your speed man, thanks for the proof.

there is some error in the stock speedo, I think top speed is somewhere around 130-135 mph. That is a cool run though. Didn't the car feel twitchy at that speed ?, I found the stock suspension felt unnerving at anything over 100mph. But that has all changed since I put in some Eibach springs. I think there is too much air getting under the car in stock form.

That can't be true cuz i pass 140mph on the PA turnpike n the car drove jus fine.

wow, you hit 140? I need a couple hundred more revs to pull that off. At 137 I was about to kiss fuel cut-off. Maybe your 18's are throwing your speedo off?;)

In regards to maximum attainable speed, please note:

I hit a hair under 140 one night going slightly up hill.

Do you guys have any mods?
I have an intake, and header, do you think this could have something to do with the differance in speed?

Not at all. Whether you have 1000hp or 10hp, your gearing is the same in both cars. You would just get there faster.

The top mph's are the same. If you change your wheels, it'll effect the gearing and how the speedo reads.

Your crazy to be driving at that speed on that shit road, I have reached 138 on a level and felt that car still had more to go and felt totally in control

Did it the car feel tired at that speed? I guess if we had a 6th gear we could be going even faster and saving gas.

Fastest I have gone in my Si is 135mph on the Bronx River Pkwy.
The car felt alittle shaky, I took that it was from the poor traction at high speed that our stock rubber gives...
