Whats up peeps... a couple of weeks ago i thought of something that would keep me under the radar... anyone who owns an SP2 can vouch for how quite and deep they sound, they dont really call alot of attention by the way they sound, but the the canister and tip scream to be seen... so i fixed it, my way

i went to a local muffler shop to pick up a 2.5in x 4in pipe, the guy was pretty cool so he just gave it to me... i then found a local shop that does tig welding, i told him the idea and he said he would only charge 30 bucks to do what i asked... yada yada yada two hours later i brought back the axle back and he cut off the tip and tig welded on the 4in piece of pipe.... came out great, i was really happy on how it came out... went home washed it up, hit it with a couple of coats of high temp flat black, then one coat of regular flat black, had an rsx cover that my boy gave me cause he wasnt using it, slid it on and a perfect fit.... sorry for the long write up... just thought i would share some of the details....

appreciate the comments fellas....

i had them cut off the original tip, then i had the 4in x 2.5in pipe tig welded on... after that i just slid the RSX cover over it... its just a cover thats held on by a screw...

looks really nice but is that reg flat black just going to peel off of the other layers? seems like if it can't take the heat as the other two coats are made to do, heat will still dissipate to the surface. not that i'm an expert on this stuff. really good looking setup, once again.

sign me up when you find one.... Been looking for a LONG time. I want a short 3" turbo muffler that style, that will fit, IMPOSSIBLE.

It looks great, very impressive, my kinda style... i would just say maybe if there is room, bend the hangers a little to tuck the muffler up a little

Like I said , im gonna try to copy that, so couple days ago I painted my sp2 muffler. For the paint I used flat black Dupli-Color high heat with ceramic, its good up to 1200 deg. Beat the hell out of my car for two days and the paint is holding up great. Anywho will post pics when the whole project is complete.
