I'm going to be purchasing new pads and would like to now what you guys think of theses? When I apply the brake will it make some type of noise at all with the HPS pads?... because right now when ever I apply the brakes you can hear some type of noise, which us probably the noise of brake rust rubbing together.... man does that get annoying..... any suggestions?

Thanks,
Matt

I love mine. my mom runs them too. she can't believe how much better they are compared to stock. first stop is slightly longer, but once they get warm, they are perfect!

I use the HPS pads on my car and I AutoX it too. The pads are better than stock, but still what I would consider a street pad. No brake squeal and very little dusting, but have a little better bite than stock.

I drove a EP with HP+ pads this weekend and all I had to say was wow. And now that is what I have coming in this week. They do have more dust and some noise.

Had / loved them. Just be sure to bed them correctly:

1. After installing new brake pads, make 6 to 10 stops from approximately 30-35 mph applying moderate pressure.
2. Make an additional 2 to 3 hard stops from approximately 40 to 45 mph.
3. DO NOT DRAG BRAKES!
4. Allow 15 minutes for brake system to cool down.
5. After step 4 your new pads are ready for use.

yeah I love mine but I'll be upgrading to HP+ very soon. I don't have a front rebar on due to my jdm bumper so I want my brakes to be very good.

what do yal recomend for a turboed application? i was looking into hawks? are they sufficient enough?

For the turbo set up I would start with as sticky of tires as possible so you can put the power down and also stop quickly. If you don't track it go with HPS. If you like to do track days go with the HP+ and live with some dust and noise.

do you apply your brakes until you come to a complete stop?

also, where's the cheapest place to get both front and rear HPS pads?

Stainless steel brake lines and new "performance" brake fluid - would that improve braking aswell?

Tire race I is what I found.

BTW I just installed the HP+ pads with the powerslot rotors and did the brake in. Once you get some heat into those brakes it feels great.
