I am not a fan of putting drop springs on stock shocks. Shock are just there to dampen the rebound of a spring. Change the spring to a Higher rate and you should upgrade the damper....But I really like great handling cars. I will but my ep3 up against just about any car on these boards....My advise is
1) do not lower you ep3 more than a inch without rollcenter correction.
2) buy matched springs and dampers
3) get camber kits for the front and rear because the stock alinment specs suck for our cars.....:mangel:

You will need a camber kit for the drop. I don't recommend using the stock shocks/ struts. Do it the right way and get those shocks. Tokico blues should be ok and not expensive. Check out shox.com or ebay under jdmwerks.

Get some D-spec Tokicos from Showstoppers...THey were on sale a couple weeks ago when I got mine.

Even with minimal drop get a camber kit and get the car alignment set up right. either DIY or via shop. Read the high performance thread.

I am running JDM drop up front and stock in back. (sometimes I carry heavy SCUBA gear in the trunk) Getting alignment done at 1.5 fron 1 deg in back.

gonna run 225/45/17 so i didnt want to fill up the wheel wells too much.

Shox.com is located here in San Diego. They are very professional and match pricing with anyone legit business. I've been purchasing through them since 1997.
