You're supposed to realign your car any time you chance your suspension geometry.

I would for sure. Why spend money on suspension and compromise it's performance with riding on a bad alignment?

yeah this is highly recommended like cow said, "anytime the suspension geometry changes"...most people have the progress rear sway...22mm i believe...also theres a thread that recommends i think getting a camber kit or just switching the alignments specs to obtain a high performance alignment...

You will def. need to get an alignment.

have never heard anything about a high performance alignment but you may need a rear camber kit and def an alignment. lot of people get progress rear sway with lower control arms by skunk 2 or anyone else.

You can get away with not having a rear camber kit.

Yep. Don't mistake "can" for "not reccomended" though.

cow's right it's recommended but I can say from my own experience if uneven tire wear is your concern, you will not have a problem. I was going to buy the rear camber kit but after reading reviews by BarrackSi and others I opted to go without.

the drop on the Mugen SS is 1" or 1.2" isn't it?
Damn Ephatch crash. i tried to find you a link that I read but it is gone. :mfrown:

A lot of this depends on how low you are. I'm too stupid to know the drop of the Mugen set off the top of my head, but basically after a certain amount of lowering, your center of gravity becomes too low for the LCA's, making it counterproductive. That's why a lot of suspension gurus will suggest that you change out to an aftermarket LCA, in order to prevent the stock ones from limiting your ride height adjustments for the better.

yeah, i think the mugen ss gives you about a 1.5" drop and most of what i've read says rear camber kit on a 2" or more drop so at 1.5" its really up to you....

I personally would get one just so I could install all of it at the same time. Be sides, won't you have to get another alignment if you get it later? No sense in paying for two alignments.

Keep in mind if you don't get a camber kit the only thing that can be aligned is the toe. If you are going to spend $75 to get it aligned you might as well get a camber kit as it shouldn't cost anymore to have the alignment done. It is not like they charge less to only do the toe, at least at any shop I have ever visited.

get some crash bolts(25 bucks) and ask for as much negative camber as possible in the front.
