i want to change the oil in my tranny 170 km, i'm not sure if it was ever changed, just want to know what to put in place of it, a mechanic told me 80w-90 i also herd just regular motor oil.... what should i use ??

I've heard older hondas could use motor oil but not ours. GM syncromesh if youre having grinding issues or just go to the dealership and get regular honda mtf. I'm sure someone else will chime in with redline oil numbers and such.

just use honda MTF (manual transmission fluid)

I used Red Line MTF, my car shifted so much smoother under hard acceleration.

Maybe but I recommend you get it from a chevy or gm dealership. I would use this or the new Honda MTF (green bottle)

All my Honda had was Honda MTF in a black bottle. Idiots work at the Honda dealership here.
