and it is awesome!!! The shifts are smoother, and everything has a more direct feel. :peace:

But! there is a distinct rattling that comes only just above a warm idle when I accel. Is this normal? All the other vibration I know is normal.

My engine is also louder. Like, I can hear this ticking noise thats like "tick tick tick tick tick...". Is that the fuel injectors?

Anyone ever had any long term problems with theirs? I feel bad knowing my engine usually rocks at certain points like decellerating of downshifting hard when it doesnt do it anymore. I can imagine my strut tower saying "f you for installing this!!!" haha

You will feel a lot more of the engine's vibrations now. The ticking could be your injectors or valvetrain, but that shouldn't be louder just from the damper.

If your strut tower bolts are properly torqued, you aren't putting any additional stress on the strut - it's all transferred to the chassis sheet metal.

A/C was nuts when I had my ingalls TD. I have Innovative mounts now and having tried a/c yet.

how are those treating you?

I really need to loosen the setting on these. Do I have to take it off to set it of can I just use a wrench.

Ok guys
check this out. I don't have any rattling or LOUD vibration anymore.

Well first off, I installed it wrong with the o ring only facing the bracket. It suppose to be facing the stiffy.

I took the entire thing off, added my own thick rubber washers, and loosen the setting to about 13.5 -14.0 mm. Then When I tightened it back on, I didn't over tighten it. Its great, love it. I think the thick rubber washers are really making a difference

I loved my ETD when I first put it on, but I think Im going to sell it and get ESMM for the same effect.

Rubber washers and O-Rings are key to keeping the rattle down. A little sound deadening on the underside of the braces doesnt hurt either.
