Ok finally gotten round to taking some updated pics of how she currently stands. As the others on here were from various stages. Not brilliant but hopefully you get an idea of where she is going.

I know the wheels may not be to everyones taste being both small, and red :D, but I think they are a little cheeky...

And now the overnight bits from the US.... ta da.....

Above is everything, well except the exhaust centre section.

LCA's and tie bar

Backbox, to be honest it looks pretty well made, seems solid, with good welds. light too. All stainless and full 70mm. I think this is gonna be LOUD!!!!!. Does have a bung though.

Any excuse to show the ARC kit again:

I've seen that cage design before, but I don't know where I have seen it. Is it legal for race-use?

You are so lucky to have everything all of just dream about...an actuall Type-R...great looking car...the only thing i would change is going back to 17s that are 8" wide with a +35 offset and some nice 235 on there :mwink:

But its truly a very nice ride...what roll cage is that?

DarkSiRacer

VERY VERY NICE especially the interior... what s/c were you running at the time it blew?

Thanks for the comments guys.

The cage was built bespoke and was built by a company that do the cages for various race series. The rims, well I could have gone for something more popular, especially over here where it is all about the Volks, Reys etc, infact I used to run Buddy Club 18's but the ride was a little unforgiving on our cruddy UK roads. Also I find the tyres give a little on the limit so warn me when they are about to lose grip, if you know what I mean.

I may go back up to 17's at some point... some MF10's or Work would be cool, but they would only get scuffed in a pothole :(.

Oh I was running 4psi on the charger, and had done 34k miles on it. The reason it blew was AEM + 2 foot water + bad :(. We had a huge deluge and there was standing pool of water where it never usually gathers round wherre I live, and I got cought out :(.

I have the stage 2 and titanium retainers springs etc. Did you not go for the valves also, just out of interest?

When the cam work is done, I am also gonna get the stem seals replaced, along with the guides. So hopefully the head will have a refresh. Oh and the Timing chain tensioner as well, just in case. Well my car has done 116k miles :D.
