it's just a reminder.

check your owner's manual to see what needs to be done based on time and mileage.

to reset it, press and hold down the trip meter button before you start the car. then, start the car while still holding down the button for like 10-20 seconds.

i dont have my manual. can someone help me and tell me what it means when it lits during ingition on 118k miles? i wish there was a thread on the list of the maintenance with corresponding miles. i saw it before the crash. can't find it now.

light might indicate for services such as oil, coolant, air filter, spark plugs, belts, waterpump, transfluid, a/c filter, brakes/fluid change.
