i am really curious to find out what Type R parts or k20 parts can go on our block. they are basically the same, i know they have a longer stroke, but that can be fixed. i wonder why i dont see any info on this anywhere. i am willing to bet that our head, cams, etc.. can be swapped with the type R. who would know about this? i cant find any info anywhere... who can i ask?

I don't think it would be a good idea, since we have two intake cams where as the rsx has intake and exhaust cam, meaning the cams probably would go right with ours and the ecu would freak out.

your telling me that u can not swap the whole top end? head swap and all? a different stroke doesnt mean jack, that can be fixed. and with the ecu swap... the cam problem should be solved , right? maybe im wrong, but still

I agree, wonder what head bolt pattern? I have a pic of the
head assy on the EP3 out of the manual, could someone match these to the type-R block? I think it is very possible and would
definitely require the ECU, wire harness as well. jmo
